Easterbrook Hall
Within the estate proudly sits Easterbrook Hall, a category B listed red sandstone building notable for its Art Deco details and breathtaking views of the scenic Nith Estuary.
The main hall, the Estate’s largest venue, accommodates large scale events ranging from conferences, exhibitions, meetings, away-days, awards evenings, gala dinners, and balls. The main hall features:

The Duncan Rooms
The Duncan Rooms have a classic elegance. Bask in the natural light pouring in through the windows, and take advantage of the beautiful private outdoor terrace adorned with vibrant flowers from Spring into Autumn.
The Duncan Rooms offers a total of 266 sqm of space, with a retractable wall system which allows the room to be divided into three smaller sections for smaller events and gatherings. The Duncan Rooms feature:

The Crichton Memorial Church
The focal point of the 85 acre estate is the Cathedral-style Crichton Memorial Church. The richly detailed church is made of red sandstone from Locharbriggs and Thornhill, and inside the church you will find the stunning oak roof, floors of Irish and Sicilian marble
and impressive stained glass windows.
The church is non-denominational and is open for events of all kinds. The Crichton Memorial Church features:

Crichton Central
An innovative, accessible co-working events space and café based in the heart of the Crichton Estate. Crichton Central is a perfect space for smaller events and meetings.
The Lounge
By day, the lounge provides a comfy spot to meet a friend or colleague for coffee, lunch or a drink and for remote or mobile workers. By night, the lounge can be transformed into a Live Lounge for band nights, live performances and small functions, talks, lectures, networking events or private functions.
The venue is fully equipped with state-of-the-art sound, audio visual and streaming equipment, so is the perfect place to host a small event and reach out to a virtual audience too.
The Lawn and Terrace
The outdoor terrace offers a sheltered place to enjoy a coffee, drink or lunch and offers lovely views out onto the lawn and across to Criffel. When the weather is kind, there are picnic tables with parasols situated on the lawn for those who want to enjoy al fresco dining and drinks. The lawn also makes a great location for outdoor events and is available for hire.
Meeting Rooms and Co-Working Space
Crichton Central has a number of bookable meeting spaces available for hire, which can be hired separately or opened up to provide a larger meeting room when required. Each room is equipped with large flat screens and high-speed connectivity. Catering and other business support services can be provided to anyone booking the meeting rooms as required.
Co-working space
Our Connectors Workspace is a large open plan, workspace within Crichton Central. It provides an inspiring setting for mobile workers and for anyone who wants an alternative to working from home or is looking for an opportunity to network and connect with others during their working day. Available to book by individuals or for business events, our Connectors Workspace enables likeminded people to collaborate and grow their businesses.
Bistro and Spa
Easterbrook Bistro and Spa is a modern style café and bar set within the Crichton Estate. Although accessed by its own private entrance, Easterbrook Bistro is part of Easterbrook Hall and is home to our on-site swimming pool and spa. Open 7 days a week, Easterbrook Bistro is a popular spot for coffee, cake, lunches, afternoon tea and pre show meals. This area can also be hired for celebrations and corporate events.
Outdoor Spaces
The Crichton has 85 acres of land to host a range of outdoor events and the facilities and expertise to provide event management for large scale festivals, product launches and street food markets.
The Crichton has hosted the UCI Cycling World Championships Para-Rpad Cycling, British National Road Cycling Championships, The Doonhame Festival, The Royal Burgh of Dumfries Tattoo, Illyria Outdoor Theatre. Plus weddings, large scale corporate events, BBQ’s and team building days.
