Our flexible, spacious facilities make The Crichton an ideal venue for corporate events, including conferences, exhibitions and awards ceremonies. As Scotland’s premier conference venue, our team are experienced in helping businesses to organise and host events of all sizes.

Easterbrook Hall is the conference centre of choice in the South of Scotland. The hall itself can accommodate up up to 600 delegates for a wide range of functions, meetings, conferences, exhibitions, training days, away days, BBQs and events. Additionally, the Duncan Rooms and the Gilchrist Room on either side of the hall can be added for extra space, or hired separately for smaller, bespoke events.

All rooms offer AV equipment, free Wi-Fi and a friendly and efficient team to ensure events at run like clockwork, and spaces can be hired individually or as a suite to suit the event and catering can be tailored to meet the needs of every client or as a package if preferred.

Easterbrook Hall

Easterbrook Hall benefits from its own team of experienced chefs who can offer a tailored catering package, a number of bars, a private outdoor terrace, a large car park and 85-acres of landscaped grounds and gardens.

We work closely with local event decor companies who can help provide themed finishing touches to your room(s) and if we can take care of your table plans, name cards, table numbers and printed menus for you too.

From Easterbrook Hall, guests also have a fantastic view of The Crichton Memorial Church and lawn, which are also available to hire for events and functions. The Crichton has a vibrant business and academic community and is also a popular choice for weddings, social events, leisure pursuits and short breaks.

The Crichton is just a 5 minute drive into Dumfries town centre and 10 minutes to Dumfries Train Station.

With a 71-bedroom hotel on site offering delegate rates, a 9-hole golf course, an onsite Bistro and café, a swimming pool and onsite health and wellbeing businesses, it’s a fantastic place to host your next conference.
