Crichton Central is coming soon to Criffel View at #TheCrichton
Criffel View is located within an 85 acre parkland estate at #TheCrichton in Dumfries. It underwent an extensive refurbishment programme in 2020 to create a new state-of-the-art co-working space, which is due to open in 2021.
At Crichton Central we will create a terminus and interchange for ideas – a central station for The Crichton and all that happens here – academic, business and everything in between. It will be a model place for co-habitation, networking, and innovation and a place for informal knowledge exchange.

The Crichton
The Crichton Trust has responsibility for managing, preserving and developing The Crichton, which has a fascinating history as a psychiatric hospital. It is now home to over 80 businesses and academic institutions.
The beautiful grounds and range of venues, makes The Crichton a popular venue for weddings, events, meetings and conferences and will soon be complemented by this new facility in Criffel View.
