VENUES UPDATE: 17 SEPTEMBER 2021
It’s been six weeks since our last venues update and so we thought it was time to bring you up to date again.
SWIMMING POOL: We know you are eagerly awaiting the opening of the swimming pool at Easterbrook Bistro, but following a further health and safety review of the swimming pool and changing rooms this week, and in light of the current status of Covid-19 in the region, a decision has been made to delay the reopening of the pool until further notice. We are sorry to disappoint you. Should you wish to discuss your existing membership please call 01387 702020.
EASTERBROOK BISTRO: Due to staff shortages and recruitment challenges in the hospitality sector, we regret that we are not yet able to confirm a date for reopening Easterbrook Bistro, but we are making every effort to recruit staff and to open as soon as we possibly can. If you know anyone who would like to join our team in the Bistro, please tell them to get in touch so we can share some better news in our next update.
EASTERBROOK HALL AND CRICHTON MEMORIAL CHURCH: It is great to see the safe return of some events, but sadly we are still having to reschedule others. Please be assured that we are continuing to work with all event organisers and to carry out risk assessments for each individual event. We continue to be as fair, flexible and supportive as we can, but the safety of our customers and staff must come first. CRICHTON CENTRAL: The cafe, lawn, terrace, lounge and takeaway at Crichton Central are proving to be very popular, so thank you to everyone who continues to visit. If you haven’t visited yet, Crichton Central can be found in The Crichton Business Park and is open to the public from 10am to 4pm, 7 days a week. To book a table or place an order call 01387 702234. In the next phase of our plans for Crichton Central, we look forward to launching memberships and opening our meeting rooms and Connectors Workspace. Watch this space!
OUTDOOR SPACES: We always look forward to sunny autumn days and the good news is our grounds and gardens at The Crichton are free and accessible to the public 365 days a year, so make the most of them!
