Emma Brown

Emma is a solicitor based in Dumfries, specialising in residential and commercial property law.  Since relocating to Dumfries in 2018, she has grown fond of the town’s welcoming atmosphere and scenic beauty, finding it the perfect place to both live and work.  Originally from Glasgow, Emma’s passion for law began during her undergraduate studies at the University of Strathclyde, she then went on to obtain a postgraduate qualification at the University of Edinburgh.

Before fully immersing herself in law, Emma spent several years in marketing and business development, where she worked closely with both small and large businesses.  In this role, she helped companies refine their strategies, grow their market presence and streamline their operations.

Outside of her professional life, Emma enjoys a fulfilling family life with her husband, their child and two dogs – a lively cocker spaniel and a playful corgi.  She values the balance between her career and personal life, and in her downtime, she can often be found exploring the outdoors with her family, or simply enjoying the quiet of Dumfries.
