Following the departure of Diane Laws our Head of Finance and Governance on 22 November to join South of Scotland Enterprise and the planned departure Rachel Cowper our Chief Operating Officer for personal reasons from mid-December the Trust has taken the opportunity to review its senior leadership structure, to streamline the team and return back to a structure close to pre-pandemic times, as we move into the next phase of our recovery and back towards a new normality. The Trust will shortly seek to recruit a Chief Financial Officer to work alongside the Chief Executive to pick up the continued work of navigating the organisation though what has been challenging and uncertain times.

The plan is to begin the recruitment process for the Chief Financial Officer pre-Christmas with the new member of the Senior Leadership Team in place for the Spring of next year (2025). In the interim we have contracted external accountants Parris McNally to support us with our financial management and reporting through the short period of transition to the new structure.
