The Crichton offers an ideal location for a range of film and television location work. With over 85 acres of parkland, its own private road network and a breadth of stunning buildings including the iconic Crichton Memorial Church, it offers great choice and flexibility for crews.
The estate is well served with a hotel, cafes, bars and restaurant facilities, changing rooms, toilets and showers, as well as three-phase power conveniently located for both inside and outside use. Meeting rooms and a Conference Hall are also available for hire.
The photos below show BBC Songs of Praise, The Beechgrove Garden and Question Time being filmed on site at Easterbrook Hall and The Crichton Memorial Church. Look out for a film release coming soon!
Shooting time is not restricted by time with no curfews required. The site is quiet with little to no background noise, and it is possible to close off sections of the estate to minimise disruption.
The Trust can also source and provide a team of location runners, stewards and technical support as required. Quality Production Office space with Gigabit connectivity can also be provided.
We have experience and understanding of the needs of location teams, we are flexible and responsive which along with our very special places and spaces will ensure your time with us will be one of the easiest and most comfortable locations you have ever used.
