Join storyteller Gordon MacLellan of Creeping Toad for a day of stories and puppet making inspired by animals and plants from near and far.. There will be mysteries from Mexico, strange tales from the forests of Siberia and new stories from the gardens of the Crichton. We’ll make puppets to tell new stories: the adventures of the Scottish animals that visit the beautiful carvings of Totem Latamat. We might make anything from brave mice to heroic hedgehogs, smart foxes and beautiful owls and high flying eagles.

Storytelling will take place on the hour: 11am 12 noon and 1pm

Finger puppet making sessions 11.30am and 12.30pm

The event will take place on the lawns beside the Crichton Church and the Totem Latamat.
