In summer 2016, Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year Adam Weymouth paddled for four months across some of the most remote parts of Canada and Alaska, following the Yukon River from source to sea. The Yukon is the longest salmon run in the world; the purpose of the journey was to investigate the recent crash in king salmon numbers, and to explore the impacts that is having on the people and ecosystems that depend on them.
