A brilliantly decorated star, Mengyang Pan is the prize winner of many prestigious competitions including Rina Sala Gallo International Piano competition, Bromsgrove International Young Musician’s Platform, Dudley International Piano Competition, Norah Sands Award, MBF Educational Award, Chappell Gold Medal, Brent International Piano Competition and Ettlingen International Piano Competition.

Famed for her graceful charm and communicative stage presence, Mengyang performs repeatedly in some of the best venues throughout the UK such as the Royal Festival Hall, Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall, Bridgewater Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, St. John’s Smith Square and Royal Albert Hall amongst many others. Being a passionate French music and modern music admirer, her interpretation on Debussy has been described by critics as ‘so fine that time seemed to stand still. Her shading, use of tone colour, and the most brilliantly clear and precise placing of the music in the highest register was a real joy to hear’.
Her performance of composer Helmuth Lachenmaan’s ‘Wiegenmusik’ and ‘Serenade’ at the London Wigmore Hall received the warmest praise and admiration from the composer himself.

Born in a small costal city in northern China, Mengyang Pan started her piano training on her third birthday. Already showing signs of love and passion for the stage, she won her first local competition after only 1 year of study and continued to compete and perform frequently through her early childhood. At the age of 10, Mengyang was accepted to become a junior student at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, the most prestigious music conservatoire in China and thus began her professional journey.
