Spring Fling Open Studios returns for its biggest year yet, bringing together 111 artist studios across Dumfries & Galloway. This year features more studios than ever before, with a vibrant mix of returning favourites and artists taking part for the first time.

Artists and makers work across contemporary visual art and craft practices, including painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, textiles, sculpture, photography, jewellery, glass, wood, metal and mixed media.

The 2026 programme also reflects a growing presence of installation, experimental and digitally led work, alongside highly skilled, material-based practices.

Visitors are invited to explore studios across the region, meet artists, and experience work in the places it is made.

Spring Fling Open Studios is commissioned and delivered by Upland CIC.

Opening Times
Studios are generally open from 10am to 5.30pm. Some studios extend their hours, so please see the website for full details.
There is also an evening opening on Friday 22 May from 6pm to 8pm, with selected studios open later on Saturday 23 May and Sunday 24 May until 8pm.
