TENANTS’ FORUM MEETINGS:

Our next Tenants’ Forum will take place on Wednesday 25 May at 11am on Teams. The meeting will be hosted by Sarah-Jane Burns, Business Community Development Manager at The Crichton Trust.

ABOUT THESE MEETINGS: Tenants’ Forums are about making connections and are a great way to get to know fellow tenants. They are a platform in which to share information, news, ideas and opportunities between The Crichton Community.

PLANS FOR THIS MEETING: 

• This meeting will focus on Business Support Services and will include updates from Suzanne Mitchell from Dumfries & Galloway Chamber of Commerce and Matt Lancashire from Zero Matters.
• Sarah-Jane will also provide an update about Crichton Central and the recent launch of the co-working space, meeting rooms and memberships (including some great incentives and open days for tenants!)
• Sarah-Jane will also talk about the opportunity for tenants to attend any of our programmed Tours at Crichton Central and about the new ‘Coffee and Chat’ breaks and lunchtime ‘Walk and Talk’ sessions for tenants. All of these initiatives aim to help tenants get to know more about The Crichton and The Crichton Community.

OTHER OPPORTUNITIES FOR TENANTS…

OPEN DAYS AT CRICHTON CENTRAL:

Please note there is an opportunity for tenants to drop into our Open Days at Crichton Central on the 19th or 24th May from 10am to 4pm. These events are specifically for tenants and are the perfect time for tenants to sign up for their free community membership package and perks.

WALK AND TALK SESSIONS STARTING AT CRICHTON CENTRAL: 

Tenants are invited to get together every second Wednesday for a lunchtime Walk and Talk around The Crichton. These short 30 minute walks will get us all out of the office to explore the grounds and to meet others who work on site. From Wednesday 1st June, and fortnightly thereafter, anyone wishing to join these sessions should meet outside the front entrance of Crichton Central at 12.10. All welcome.

MONTHLY COFFEE AND CHAT BREAKS AT CRICHTON CENTRAL:

Tenants are invited to drop into Crichton Central on the first Tuesday of every month between 10am and 11am for our monthly Coffee and Chat Breaks and the opportunity to get to know fellow tenants, connectors and colleagues over a hot drink.  These informal sessions will take place in the lounge at Crichton Central starting on Tuesday 7th June and it would be great to see everyone dropping in to say hello when they can. We also invite members of Crichton Central to join us and to get to know the wider community.

CRICHTON BRIEFINGS:

As well as Tenant Forums’ and informal sessions, we also host quarterly Crichton Briefings hosted by Gwilym Gibbons, Chief Executive of The Crichton Trust. These meetings take place quarterly on Teams and are intended to provide an overview of ongoing developments and projects at The Crichton. Crichton Briefings are suitable for everyone involved in The Crichton Community. All welcome. Our next Crichton Briefing will take place on 7th June at 4pm.
