SUNFLOWER FIELD

PLANT A SUNFLOWER

In solidarity with Ukraine, we are creating a sunflower field at The Crichton and we would love you all to get involved.  Over Easter, we would like to encourage you to plant some sunflower seeds in a small pot at home and to look out for details of our community planting days at The Crichton. You are very welcome to come along and plant your sunflower(s) in the areas designated for community planting on one of these days*.

A supply of sunflower seeds will be available for members of the public to pick up in the cafe at Crichton Central from Wednesday 13th April. We hope you will support this initiative and help make Dumfries and Galloway a welcoming place for Ukrainian refugees.

*Please only plant sunflowers in the community areas in and around the sunflower field and on official planting days. If you cannot make it on any of the advertised dates, or if you would like to arrange a group visit, please contact us to find a suitable time. Details of community planting days will be shared soon.

For enquiries about this initiative please contact The Crichton Trust on 01387 247544 or email: hello@crichton.co.uk
