The Crichton Grounds and Playing Fields
The Crichton is open to the public all year round. With 85 acres of parkland boasting a rock garden, complete with many specimen trees and plants, arboretum and exquisite rose gardens, The Crichton offers a stunning location to take a leisurely stroll, walk the dog, have a picnic or as the backdrop your wedding photos.
The Crichton also features playing fields and an abundance of open spaces which are great for a range of activities including football, festivals, fairs, sports days, picnics, BBQs, walks and play time.
Crichton parkrun also takes places every Saturday morning and many leisure groups and individuals make use of the grounds for walking, jogging and cycling.
