Regional Food Groups have joined forces to create an event to showcase the best the area has to offer in terms of exceptional produce with the support of Scotland Food & Drink.

Do you sell or serve food or drink? We are inviting buyers from retail, wholesale, foodservice and tourism sectors from across Scotland both locally and regionally as well as businesses in the North of England and Ireland to help grow awareness and sales of these incredible and diverse Scottish products. If you serve or sell food, this event is for you to grow your Scottish produce offering.

* Please note this is an event for the industry.

Buyers

If you source, or aspire to source, Scottish produce then this event is for you whether you are from Scotland, the North of England or Ireland. You could be a local, regional, or national buyer of a multiple supermarket retailer; a group foodservice business; a public procurement specialist; a regional wholesaler; an independent retailer, caterer, hospitality or tourism provider. You are looking for quality produce from businesses that can meet your local sourcing needs.

There has never been a more important time to source locally. You will know as buyers that there are so many benefits in sourcing locally which include:

• The quality of food is higher

• It is more nutritious

• Sustainable – reduce food miles

• Supports communities / environment and supply chain

• Give visitors a more local / authentic taste and experience

• Sustain local producers and support local economy and jobs

• Stories

Scottish Suppliers from the Lowlands – (East Lothian, Ayrshire & Arran, Dumfries & Galloway, Lanarkshire and the Scottish Borders) ONLY

We are looking for Scottish food & drink suppliers across these 5 areas with high quality, market-ready products and the ambition and capability to reach new markets and grow their business.

You will be allocated a trestle table and 2 chairs within the price. You will be required to be at your stand/space for the duration so we would recommend that you bring a colleague with you to enable you time to attend other sessions and indeed network to maximise the opportunity.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • We want to ensure a diverse range of product, therefore if we receive more than one type of producer for regions, we will advise you of this and can arrange a refund. We know that having too many of the same types of suppliers would not only dilute what we can showcase to the buyer but also to ensure it’s a success for you too. We trust that you will appreciate our honesty in this approach.
  • We want to make sure you get the most of this event and opportunity. Please complete payment to secure your space. (Refunds will be made following a communication if we receive to many of the same types of products -i.e. Alcohol / Gin etc. )
  • If you require electric please ensure you book a ticket for that too and note one ticket per socket equired.
