Lady Nairne (1766-1845) composed around 100 songs including such classics as ‘Charlie is my darling’ and ‘The Rowan Tree’.
She maintained such a strict anonymity that Robert Burns was sometimes believed to be the composer.  Who was this mysterious songstress?

All will be revealed by Dave Dewar as narrator/interviewer, Wendy Weatherby as Lady Nairne, performing her songs on cello and voice, and Sandy Brechin on accordion and keyboards.
