Celebrate the inspiring life of Dr. Flora Murray, a suffragette, medical pioneer and gender non-conforming queer icon from Dumfries. Join us for a commemoration event on the 100th anniversary of her death, featuring Gloriously Happy performances of music, spoken word and guest speakers.

Part of the Dumfries Pride celebrations, this joyful remembrance event will commemorate and pay tribute to the life and legacy of Dr Flora Murray, reflecting her life the way she lived it: with pride, activism, creativity and by utilising the arts. Daughter of Dumfries, Suffragette, Medical Pioneer, Radical Activist and LGBTQ+ Icon, Flora was a true Rebel Queen of the South.
