DAVID DIMBLEBY PRESENTS BBC QUESTION TIME FROM EASTERBROOK HALL

The Crichton Trust welcomed David Dimbleby to Easterbrook Hall on Burns Night to host BBC Question Time from The Crichton Estate in Dumfries.

BBC One’s flagship political discussion programme was recorded from Easterbrook Hall on Thursday 25th January, where David Dimbleby chaired the debate. A panel of senior politicians and other guests responded to questions from the local audience. Panellists included Michael Forsyth, Conservative peer and former MP and Kezia Dugdale, Labour MSP and former leader of Scottish Labour Party.

Earlier in January, David Dimbleby said: “I am very much looking forward to bringing Question Time to Dumfries. What really matters is that we have a lively audience who want to speak their mind. It’s a chance for Dumfries to get its voice heard not just by politicians but right across the UK.”

Members of the public were part of the studio audience. The debate was aired on BBC One on Thursday 25th January at 10.45pm.
