Crichton University Campus

uws_dumfries_blackThis Super Campus was created with the completion of the new Dumfries and Galloway College at the beginning of the 2008 academic session.

The Crichton Campus is the first multi institution campus in Scotland to incorporate both higher and further education. The College sits alongside institutions including the University of the West of Scotland, the University of Glasgow, the Open University, the Scottish Agricultural College and the Crichton Carbon Centre.

The original Crichton Campus was inaugurated to much acclaim by First Minister, the late Donald Dewar, in January 2000. The Campus lies to the south east of the estate where buildings are well dispersed in a magnificent parkland setting providing the perfect campus environment.
